Easy as Pie Quilt Along and Giveaway!!



1 Choice 4 Quilting is pleased to announce a new monthly featured sew along.  Each month we will link up with a blogger or choose a book to create a myriad of fun projects.  From quilts to bags to home decor it will sure to be a fun time.  Our first month we are linking up with Jamie at Busy Bee Quilts to bring you a tutorial for the Easy as Pie Little Apples Quilt.

I will give away one Little Apples Easy as Pie Quilt Kit to a lucky winner!  Entry information is below!

Quilt Kits will be available for purchase for $67.99 which is 20% off what you would pay if purchased separately and it will be shipped for free!

1 Little Apples by Aneela Hoey Layer Cake
27 inches Little Apples Pencil Yardage for skinny border & binding
52 inches Moda Bella Solids Saffron for border & star blocks
Exactly 4 yards of Little Apples Fabric backing (Quilter's Choice)

The tutorial begins on February 4th and will run for 4 weeks with the program as follows:

February 4th: Cutting & piecing pinwheel and sawtooth rows

February 11th: Cutting & piecing wonky star blocks and center row

February 18th: Sewing together rows & adding borders

February 25th: Post your photo to the The 1 Choice 4 Quilting Club Flickr Group by this day for a PRIZE!

  1. I would most likely participate in sew alongs for quilts (especially if we can adapt the size to our liking) and bags. And I don't like for things to go on for much more than 4 to 6 weeks or I might lose interest. I also like well-defined schedules and deadlines.

  5. I would love tutorials for small projects that could be finished in one day. also it would be great if the tutorials were downloadable as pdfs in case you cant get to them immediately. Usually I can't remember where I saw them.

  49. I don't do a lot of quilt a longs but I look for something that doesn't look too hard and teaches a different block or one that I really want to practice on. I also want to make quilts that are scrappy, my bins are overflowing.Right now I'm doing Melissa's Starburst Quilt a long, working on HSTs and flying geese. Thanks.
