Wow it appeared for a minute as though spring had sprung here on the east coast. It was warm & sunny for three days straight. Today it's cold, rainy & blustery, appearing to be winter again.
So since nature can't decide what season it should be
I've decided to give away not one but two jelly rolls.

ReplyDeleteI love Jelly Rolls and Charm packs but thinking I could use more info on Layer Cakes, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI like the jelly rolls and are my comfort zone precut but I have several layer cakes that I need some inspiration for. I'd like more tutorials on them and a swift kick in my lower end to use them. My problem is that I like the fabric in the layer cake so much, I hate to cut the cake and sew it too :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pre-cut is charm packs and I would like to learn more about turnovers. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI really am loving charm packs! They are so versatile. I would love to learn more about any of the precuts. Thanks for the chance to win!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pre-cut is current the layer cake because there are so many options for how you cut it if you cut it at all. I would like to learn more about jelly rolls.
ReplyDeleteI seem to have more jelly rolls around than layer cakes - somehow they seem to work better for fast quilts with less cutting;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance - and I, too need nice SPRING weather...
I like Charm packs......but I have never used a Jelly roll. So I could use info on those....thanks for the great giveaway
ReplyDeleteLove charms. What about triangles. I have a few and no. Good ideas.

sewterri@suddenlink.net

ReplyDeleteI love using charm packs. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe only precuts I've ever used are fat quarters and charm packs. I love both. But I'd love to try a jelly roll. I've done a couple of quilts that required cuttings narrow strips, and also a few zipper bags, handbags and journal covers requiring strips. So a jelly roll seems just the thing. Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI love the jelly rolls--would like more ideas on how to use them. Thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteI have several charm packs and a few jelly rolls, but haven't used them yet. I do use my fat quarters. Would love to learn more about using charm packs.
ReplyDeleteBarbara
I don't really have a favorite. I like collecting charm packs because they are more affordable, but they only make smaller projects (if I can bear to use them, lol) I haven't purchased any layer cakes yet. The only issue I have is that yardage is difficult to find if you don't get it when the charms and JRs are out. If you wait to use them, you can't find coordinates. I've gotten smarter about ordering yardage for borders and binding when I get a precut.
ReplyDeleteCharm packs are my favorite go to pre-cuts. Would love to see more ideas for jelly rolls!
ReplyDeleteI haven't really worked much with precuts, in fact, I have a stack of layer cakes, jelly rolls and charm packs waiting for inspiration to hit.

ReplyDeleteIt would be a tough choice for me between jelly rolls and charm packs - both are so versatile! I love FQ bundles, but often have a hard time deciding what to use them for - and most often end up breaking them up and mixing them with other fabrics. Oh well, not such a bad problem to have!
ReplyDeleteI guess my favorite is charm packs, but I would love to learn more about how to use jelly rolls! Thanks for hosting such a nice giveaway....sure love that Happy Go Lucky!
ReplyDeleteI love layer cakes, as you get a nice chunk of each line, and it's just so versatile to use whole, or cut charms out of, or for paper piecing!
ReplyDeleteI make a lot of coin quilts for charity so charms are my favorite pre cut. Looking forward to your jelly roll tips though. Great giveaway - thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI like jelly rolls best . look forward to more tips. thanks for the chance to win

ReplyDeleteI LOVE'EM ALL and use them all. But if I had to choose my most favourite of favourites to go to it would be the jelly roll, so convenient and no real grey matter needed to work with them. I would really like to learn more about layer cakes though in saying that I would really love to know more about the Hexies.
ReplyDeleteI've used more charm squares than any other pre-cut, but I like the jelly rolls best because that is the cut I usually goof up on--I'm the queen of the wonky "V" in a strip.
ReplyDeleteI usually go for fat quarters since I seldom know what the fabric will become when I buy it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite right now is the jelly roll with fat quarters running second.
ReplyDeleteI love Charm Packs but am wanting to start in on some Jelly Rolls.
ReplyDeleteI like layer cakes..u can do so muc w them
