Quick & Easy Christmas PJ Pants

I absolutely love our holiday traditions. Every year I give at least one handmade item to my daughter.  I recently came across a super easy PJ pants tutorial.  I was getting down to the wire time wise so I really wanted something that was simple and wouldn't take too much time.

Although we typically always open all of our gifts on Christmas day I wanted to start a new tradition of opening one gift from the heart on Christmas Eve.  I also decided to give them to my daughter on Christmas Eve so she had special Christmas PJ Pants.  She always needs new PJ's and I thought ones with a holiday theme would suit her just perfect.

I chose to use some Winter Hats Red from the Penquin Pals collection by Sara Khammesh for Moda.  It is simply adorable.  I love the little stars on the winter hats.

I found the tutorial on Pinterest but here is a direct link to My Cotton Creations for the complete tutorial.

As stated in the tutorial, I used a pair of PJ pants I knew where a perfect fit and then added an inch to the length to guarantee some wear.

I love the way they came out and it took less than a half hour to complete.  If you need a quick gift for anyone check out Nancy's tutorial.

I can't wait until tomorrow night to give them to her.  I will add a photo of her wearing them!
