I was born in Omaha, Nebraska and lived in Washington State, many places in California, Massachusetts and Florida before I got married at the age of 20 which was ... a few years ago :) But my hometown for the past 25 years is Leominster, Massachusetts, birthplace of Johnny Appleseed and the plastic pink flamingo you see in yards and which was featured in the recent movie Gnomeo and Juliet. The character was even named after the inventor, our own local Mr. Featherstone! We were known as the plastics capital of the world for a very long time, producing most of the combs and medical plastics and even Foster Grant sunglasses!

Hometown...now that is a tricky word. I spent the majority of my life in Monroe, MI but moved to Cumberland Gap, TN about 2 years ago and could not be more at HOME! I love this place (as you can tell by my podcast). I adore where I live. It has a population of 210 and is like living in Mayberry!! Love it!

I facebook. Do you like how I made that a verb?
I don't claim a hometown. It's not that I moved A LOT, but it was enough I am not attached to any place. It's a bit strange. My husband grew up in the house his parents still live in and that is home to him, even after 10 years of marriage. The town will always hold a piece of his heart. If he could, he'd move all of there in an instant.
My hometown is Little Rock, AR

Hello everyone, I'm Nancy, fromFort Worth, Texas. It's so nice to read all the nice things that you have written about 1c4q. I'm sure I'm good to like being a member. and if I win some fabric that would be the topping on the cake. I'll be reading all that all of you will be writting in the comming weeks. I am new to quilting so send me some good advice. Quilting is very big in Fort Worth and Someday I hope to be even a fraction as good as the ladies and men are here. Our men are great quilters and aren't afraid to mix-up the colors, making for beautiful quilts. However my sister, Peggy, is the best I've ever seen. Have a good day and I'll talk with you again soon.
Oh I wuld LOVE the Amelia jelly roll, it would go well with the Amelia charm pack I've already ordered. I am a follower, and I am a facebook member too

My current home town is Bath, UK, but i'm a bit of a wonderer!
My home town is Castle Hill, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. It is so called because someone who found the place commented that there was a hill which would be perfect for putting a castle on! I believe that is the hill that my highschool is located on.
Castle Hill is located near Baulkham Hills, Seven Hills, Winston Hills, and Pennant Hills. I am now finding where I live in outer Melbourne to be very flat!
I am already a follower of your blog.
Oh, and I really want to get some of this fabric (whether I win the giveaway or not) because I commented on Me and My Sister's blog how I thought about calling my daughter Amelia, but ended up with Abigail instead and Barb replied to say that they thought about naming the fabric range Abigail too!

Our hometown is Olinda in Victoria, Australia. It is a beautiful area renowed for the huge mountain ash trees and cool climate rainforest as well as wombats, wallabies, echidnas and amazing parrots. Picturesque is almost an understatement! Jacinta
